Midweek Championship Ratings

no rest for any teams in the Championship, there is a full set of fixtures on Tuesday and wednesday.

First up is the match between Cardiff C v Watford: Cardiff have won 2 from 2 against teams with a rating of 3, both games have been won by just the odd goal, a 1-0 victory at home to Huddersfield first game of the season and more recently a 2-1 away victory at Ipswich.

Cardiff come into this game on the back of a defeat to Nottingham Forest but have won 6 of their last 8.

Watford are yet to take a point off of a 2 rated team having lost 2 from 2, both defeats were also by just the 1 goal, a 1-0 defeat at home to Brighton and a 2-1 reverse at home to Middlesboro'

Watford come into the game in good form having won 3 from the last 4, in the last 4 games they have beaten 2 x 3 rated teams, 1 x 4 rated team and their defeat was against a 2 rated team.

Leicester v Brighton:
Leicester have a 100% record against teams with a rating of 2, they have won 3 from 3, they come into this game having won 5 of the last 6.

Brighton have only played 1 team with a rating of 1 which ended in a 1-0 home defeat. Brighton haven't won in 4 game losing 2 and drawing 2.

Leicester to Win 6/5

Wolves v Bolton: Wolves
 also have a 100% record against teams rated 1 having won 2 from 2, both games were won by just one goal.

Wolves are not in the best of form having lost 2 of their last 3 games, but have recored 5 wins from 7 games.
 
Bolton have lost their only game against a team with a rating of 1 a 2-1 defeat away to Birmingham.

Bolton have lost 3 of their last 4 games, 2 of those games were against teams with a rating of 4.

Wolves to win by 1 goal 10/3
 
Some other interesting stats Blackburn have drawn 3 from 3 against 3 rated teams all ending 1-1, they play 3 rated Sheffield Weds.

Nottingham Forest have drawn 3 from 3 against teams rated 1 play against Blackpool

Just to reiterate it's still early on in these ratings, I am hoping that overr the course of the season some trends will appear.
