Personally looking to bounce back from a disapointing 2 weeks and also Middlesbrough will be looking to get back to winning ways after a disapointing defeat at home to Bristol C, although Boro against 4 rated teams have performed poorly so far this season winning 1 and losing 3.
Onto the midweek fixtures.
Barnsley v Burnley: Barnsley are on a run of 5 wins from their last 7 games the other 2 ending in draws, against 2 rated teams they have won 1 and lost 4, in those 5 games 3 have seen under 2.5 goals. Burnley got back to winning ways with an excellent 1-0 away win over Hull City, they were also unlucky in previous games against Charlton, playing 75 mins with 10 men and only going down by the odd goal late in the game. Burnley against 4 rated teams have won 2 drawn 1 and lost 1, 3 of those 4 games have seen over 2.5 goals.
Burnley with their new manager are a decent price to extend Barnsleys poor run
Burnley to win 7/4
Middlesbrough v Huddersfield: Boro suffered a disapointing home defeat to Bristol C and will be desperate to put that behin d them, against 3 rated teams they have won 4 and drawn 1, 4 of those 5 games saw 3 goals or more. Huddersfield would have been encouraged with a point at Charlton after playing three quarters of the game with 10 men but thier record against 2 rated sides is avarage W1 D1 L2 with 3 games with 2 goals or less.
Middlesbrough to win 10/11
Ipswich v Notts F: Forest have suffered only 1 defeat in 10 games and against 3 rated sides have W2 D1 L1 with 3 games going under 2.5 goals. Ipwich languish at the wrong end of the table and managed only a 1-1 draw at home to Peterboro' on saturday, their record against 2 rated sides is pretty poor W1 D1 L3 and Forest can continue their push up the table.
Forest to win 13/10
Here are some more interesting stats for the midweek games, Brighton have won 3 from 3 against 4 rated sides with Bristol City winning 1 and losing 4 from their 5 against 2 rated sides, this would normally be included as a bet but the Brighton odds of 8/13 put me off.
Good luck.
